We are blue-collar and professional people, we are young and old, we are progressives and traditionalists, we are people on a common spiritual journey, we are a people who believe that the most authentic experience of God involves both the heart and the mind, we are a people who believe that God calls us to continue to grow and evolve, we are a people who believe that what unites us is stronger than the issues that often separate us, we are a people who believe that God touches lives in diverse ways, we are a people who support one another, we are people who strive to follow Jesus with passion and integrity....we are the people of the Kerman United Methodist Church.
Our Sunday morning worship service “The Vine” is a branch of the ministry of Kerman UMC, meeting at 9am on Sunday mornings in the Social Hall. We welcome Tom and Holly Hillman as our Pastors:
Holly has "a heart for helping people discover who they are in Christ". We have enjoyed Holly's leadership in two of our recent Women's Retreats. She has a heart for reaching out to people especially through Kairos Prision Ministry.
Tom loves to "make Gods Truth in the Bible understandable and useful for our everyday life." Tom also experiences God in all His glory in the out-of-doors and leads regular Church hikes in the High Sierra's and Yosemite.
The Hillman's have three grown children Matthew, Nathanael, and Rebecca.
